What Was The First Music CD You Acquired?

Dark Side of the Moon.

I have paid for that music on album, 8 track, cassette, and CD. I think Pink has made enough off of me for that music.

I remember buying the Dire Straits CD, not too long after, and being amazed at how clean and clear it was. I still have both in their original jewel boxes, too.

Bought my first CD player in the early 80's. It was the Sony Discman, I think it had a 50 in the name. I think it is also still lying around somewhere. I had the powered speakers that you plugged it into, so I could take it in the car when I had to drive on long business trips. The sound was just so much better than tapes, that it was hard to go back to listening to them in the car.
