As with other types of automotive filters, it's possible the A/C filters available at an aftermarket auto parts store are significantly inferior to the OEM version available from a dealer. I have no knowledge that this is the case, but it is something to keep in mind.

There are many online sources where one can purchase OEM parts at significant discounts off of what one would pay at a dealer parts counter.
