My 20th anniversary is coming up and I am planning a trip to Kauai to celebrate. Normally I travel as cheaply as possible but I thought I might splurge a bit on this trip. I've found the options to be a bit perplexing though and I'm hoping someone here can shed some light as google has failed me in this case.
I would be flying from Seattle to Lihue via Alaska Air next March and I'm seeing normal tickets for about $1100 and first class for $1600 each. This seems like very high pricing. Here are my questions:
1) Is it possible to buy a ticket at these high prices and get a refund if the price decreases before the flight?
2) What is Full Flex? The website doesn't really seem to give much in the way of details.
3) What is preferred seating?
