Black, and Chicago People have you heard of Buzz Coffee?

The cafe is up in Wicker Park but the coffee is roasted about 20 feet from my desk, here at Adams & Wabash. My landlord and his girlfriend are the people behind it, and they took in part of the office kitchen this summer to put in the roasters. We have pallets of coffee beans stacked next to the men's room. Recently I've noticed that they have a little mail-order operation going out of one of the other big rooms on the floor, and I'm told that it's for some fancy coffeemaker that they found wasn't being sold in the US. Unfortunately, I've never had any of the coffee. Every time I go back to brew my utility-grade afternoon cup in my old Senseo, I hope to find a spigot in the wall, but no luck so far.

I was aware that there's kind of a glut of downtown office space but didn't realize it had come to this.
Next they'll be brewing beer in the Sears tower...
