My dad still had working Case and John Deere tractors when he finally had to move out of the family farm about 5 years ago (not an active farm by that time, but he'd lived there 70+ years). He got the tractors in the late 40s or early 50s. The John Deere was bought by a family friend who restored it to something like its original spiffiness.
