We got married in 1978, from the wedding presents the kettle finally died last year, the toaster is still going, the fridge is still going but at a holiday cottage. There was a freezer that came with the house we bought back then which is still going elsewhere, my daughter still uses my mother-in-law's old Kenwood Chef from the late 1950s and my wife uses the Kenwood Chef of my own mother from the early 1960s.
