Has anyone Incorporated their small business? Or an S corp? In Calif?

I'm incorporated, but I'm in IL. Not sure that I really come out ahead on taxes but my reasons for incorporating were not tied to finances. While I don't have the self employment tax, I do have a slew of taxes I need to pay as a corporation and for my "employee" (me.)

I am lucky that I have a CPA friend who ran all the numbers with me before I decided to incorporate. It might be worth some consultation time with a good tax person to decide what is best for you.
