China fighting air quality problems in Bejing
#2
"Nothing to see here.. Move along !"
Remember the Olympics in Beijing ? All 'foreign' factories were required to shut down for a MONTH to reduce pollution for the Olympics. Chinese factories ? They were shut down for about a week, if that.

"Foreign" factories are strictly controlled in terms of following da rules... and the rules are based on European regs, which almost prohibit cows from farting.

Chinese factories ? Naah. A bribe gets you a bye on any regulation, be it environmental, safety, labor rules, etc...

So of COURSE they will begin blaming we evil foreigners.

(Link ? No... this is directly from people who manage my company's factories in China.)
