Oh I'm familiar with Jezebel. They aren't the only folks pushing that meme that Ryan ripped off Cobain and Love.

I feel a bit dirty that I'm "defending" Ryan...but I find stuff like this annoying. There are plenty of legitimate points to make about Ryan (the first one you mentioned about his hypocrisy was the best), to have to muddy the waters with nonsense.
