Todd you are quite right. There are many examples of our two nations being divided by a common language, but this is not one of them.
This is an example of what I said to August West the other day...that I (wink wink) never write anything less than perfectly!
And as for Downton Abbey, don't bother: I understand it and it's bollocks!
