[auto] Rim stuck on hub day after shop rotated tires

My solution to this problem has never failed: loosen all the lug nuts by about three turns, lower the car onto the tire, and rock it fore and aft a few times once the jack is not bearing any weight at all. The tire usually pops loose before the full weight of the vehicle is on it.

I would not do this with just one lug nut attached. Has the potential to put a lot of unnecessary stress and point loading on the nut threads.
