customer disservice poor result

I've got no good ideas to get the manufacturer to cough up... (well, I DO... but none of them are legal!)..

I WOULD suggest, depending on what kind of "part" it is, taking one to a local fabrication shop and seeing if they can modify or build new the parts you need.
It MOST LIKELY will cost more than the $45 each you need, but the bright would be the company that has screwed you wouldn't see a single dime..
AND if you have contact with other customers who've been screwed and need the same parts, you can sell parts to others.

Just a thought...
