I see nothing under GENERAL tab under System Pref. in ML
Samintx, carefully read decay's post. to wit:
The first method is to click on the Apple menu and
select "System Preferences..." and then from the main window
click on Security (& Privacy), then
click on the General tab
Under 10.8, you will then click on the Advanced button in the lower right corner, there you will find "Automatically update safe downloads list".
