I slept through this one. I was up late last night and then up
early to watch the NBA games. Anyway I missed the news on
this, until I checked the forum

We are about 550km/350mi north of the volcano.
This took place in Albay, Province in the Bicol Region.

Thanks for your concern. We have survived another one.
I am sorry to here about the injuries and lost lives at Mayon.

I lived only 60miles from Mt St Helens when it went off
May 18 1980.

Soon the rainy season and Typhoon season will arrive here.
