As you all know, I had gastric banding surgery almost 3 years ago (can't believe it has been that long!) I wish him the best of luck and hope he has a good team around him to help him through this journey.
As I've said over and over and over and over again: The band does not control WHAT you eat. All it does is slow down how quickly you can eat and can limit how much you eat. There are many ways to eat "around" the band and unfortunately, many people do this.
In case anyone is wondering, I'm holding at 65-70lbs down. Would like to lose another 20 or so, but that may take another 3 years.
