Yep. As noted in my second post in this thread, that's exactly what i did and it seems to have worked fine. I'll know for certain when I don't hear (or feel) the next robocall that gets sent to voice mail.
As for giving out cell phone numbers, it certainly adds to the possibility of telemarketers, etc. But even if you never give it out, the robocallers will eventualy get to your number(s).
