Hard for me to watch. But, I needed to. The flat ground before it was flooded was the elementary school playground. Some of the words on the school said, "To the future". The future of those children has been forever changed. I've lived in Tohoku (northeast) Japan many years, but couldn't tell what city that was. Could be one of hundreds there. It was a cold day, you could see some snow beginning to fall at the end. It also gets dark very early in March in Japan, especially Tohoku region, you could see the darkness approaching. Those people had to spend all night on that crosswalk. I'm certain, as many had to do. Thousands did not survive.
