For two years now, we've required TDAP immunizations by 7th grade....
This year, we turned away the 9 students that hadn't turned in proof of immunization. Five or six were admitted to school later in the day on Monday after finally getting the proof, the others are in the process of getting the immunizations - after being told for two years they'd need it.
I am speaking mostly of the parents here, not the 7th graders... the kids are not really responsible.
My only comment was; "About damn time....".
Is this school/district policy or state law - do you know?
