TITANIUM OUTER SHELL
These first series of 17" Apple laptops were made with the original Titanium (not Aluminum) shells. Except for a small 1/4" spot (not a scratch), which is visible only at certain angles, the top/cover of the shell is practically spotless. There are naturally a few minor scratches on the bottom of the laptop.

But the picture is an Aluminum model, and to the best of my knowledge there never was a 17" Titanium model.
