A look at the "real" Japan

Was in Okinawa and Tokyo for about a week and a half a couple of years ago. I'd love to go back. One memorable experience was going to a small roadside restaurant on Okinawa where they didn't speak any English and we only knew how to say "Arigato". But we managed to have a great lunch. The people there were very friendly and helpful.
