Does anyone else think the Snowboard Cross is insane?

I hate judged events and I don't like figure skating very either. Once in a while someone cmomes along in figure skating, someone who doesn't put on stupid costumes and skates very athetically and I can watch..otherwise it's basically me lunging for the remote with my hand over my mouth n puke squirting through my fingers.

Since when does figure skating have a meaningful historical antecedent??
