Canon Pixma MG5320 direct-to-CD printing blacks blurry, all other printing is fine. What's going on?

I tried selecting grayscale in the Preview print dialog, and it gave me the same results. Actually, a part of the text was originally supposed to be in color, so I didn't want to go that route unless absolutely necessary.
