Can I boot a Mavericks mini from a Tiger backup bootable HD?

My iMac was the first of the Intel 17" flat screens.

I looked at the old AW docs, and I don't think I really need any if them, as they are pretty old.

I have a white MacBook that still has AW on it, so I could copy them over, if I really needed to.

I copied most of the user folder stuff over and loaded the music into iTunes, so I should be good.

I pulled all the photos off into a temp folder, so I will have them handy, but when I will ever get them organized is anyone's guess.

I have not decided what software I want to use fir photo management, since iPhoto doesn't seem to be free any longer, and I don't like it enough to pay for it.
