This should settle vacationgate once and for all

Fund raising counts as vacation days and he's had way more than 20 days of doing that. Besides, how many days has he spent lazing around the WH? I can't wait to see the WH logs when he leaves office. BTW, when's he going to host FSU as current National Champions? Oh wait, that's a Southern team with a white coach.

Despite Obama spending twice as much time fundraising as Bush, ( pretty sure he's surpassed even Clinton) one doesn't need to count fundraising time as vacation time. Time off from the daily grind maybe, but it really is a sepreate category of goofing off.

Obama has taken 14 vacations for a total of 92 days.

We won't count Camp David days as Camp David is a remote White House.

The Texas Ranch was also set up as a remote White House.
So we won't count those days.

Bush spent 26 days at the family retreat in Kennebunkport.
We'll count those.

He also spent 18 whole days on Obama-style vacation.

So:
Bush - 44
Obama - 92

We don't know how much we get billed for the 9 million dollar pads the Obamas treat themselves to vs the Ranch and Kennebunkport of Bush so cost would be conjecture.

Does it matter ?
As long as he is seen going straight from a national nightmare to the golf course his job rating goes further into the cellar.
No Democrats will want the loser's help campaigning at mid-terms
and his last two years could be two years of vacation.
He'll be able to golf, scribble with his pen and play Angry Birds with his phone.
