advice on durable smart phone?

I don't make it an entire day with an iPhone without having to charge in the middle of the day. Been that way with every iPhone I've ever had. If you do a lot of web surfing and have a lot of push accounts setup along with Wifi enabled it will eat the battery life. No fault of the iPhone, I've borrowed other's iPhones that get 2 days between charges and they will be dead in 6 hours with my use. I've had every single iPhone from the original to the 5s (Except the 5c).
