I think Jobs was wrong about smaller pads not having value for a lot of people, however I'm sure that with his vision of magazine reading, some light creative work and so on, the standard size pad is still ideal.
But he was right about huge phones. Yes they are available and yes some people have them. Some. Not many.
At the very least I think it's safe to say that the iPhone 6Plus user highly values things like games, reading and videos at least as much as they do being able to make a call on it.
