Yes, Paul, thank you! America has a few We Will Not Forget moments in our history going back to our fight for independence. I hope and pray we don't have any more, BUT we must be prepared. I was in Japan 9/11/01. For us there, it was late at night on 9/11 when I was watching Japanese news, but at that time all they were showing and talking about was bombings in Afghanistan, so I thought, oh me, we are attacking Afghanistan for some reason. Next morning Japan time, I finally learned what had happened. That would have been 9/11 night in America. On my way in to my office in Tokyo, wow, it was an amazing train ride. Japanese people were staring at me, which they never do. I could sense that it was in a very sad way for them. I could really tell their concern for me as an American. What a sad day. No, we shall never forget NYC, Pentagon, and the Pennsylvania field, nor all those dear hard working people who were doing their jobs that September morning.
Thanks for letting me grieve again with us all. Thanks MRF for allowing Paul to post that list. May God bless us all.
P.S. I just noticed that a person with same last name as me was in World Trade Center that morning. Not a real common name. Makes this even a bit more personal, if possible.
