Nickel oxyhydroxide battery (AA/AAA, 1.7V)

have you ever used one? they were introduced by Panasonic in 2005 (2004 in Japan). They put out 1.7 V, have higher capacity than Alkaline batteries, but were discontinued in 2011. I never know these existed until today, when I was doing some research to see which batteries are less likely to leak in devices I don't use often (spare remote controllers and such).
