I love function before form. I don't completely buy it though. It was designed as an efficient, green building..fine. Have you ever been there, Bill? On a regular basis..enough to understand where it falls down and becomes a place where lots of money was spent on spaces that are completely useless in every way, spaces that people do not give one shit about that cost a lot of money? Hospitals don't need to be glimmering showpieces. Rush has so much 'air' in it.
I'm there all the time, at Rush. Have been for quite a few years now.. there are numerous issues that make me...???
I have questions..and, most likely, Rush is not the worst of the bunch. When you make the juxtaposition with all of the problems in the American healthcare megacomplex..it has to make one wonder about the basic direction things are going in. Which was the point of the thread
..We're at or around 3 stitches for $2,229.00. It can be less, it can be more..insanity. And when you look at these facilities it has to cause some consideration of how the admins prioritze.
