Actually, they won't do that, but once they release Windoze 11, they'll force user to upgrade or pay a fee for "continuing maintenance and security updates." They've already announced it.
I haven't checked to see how the final EULA went out, but at last check by getting W10 for free you agree to the subscription model going forward. Eg, when W11 comes out, you've already agreed to buy it.
B*stards. I already knew that you were going to be forced to apply security updates when they are released... even if they break something you rely upon to do your job. I wonder how many people realize that when Win 11 comes out, they'll have to pay to update the OS, even if they don't want/need it.
