Six hours each day? And in a northern suburb! Drive up to Duluth and stop at Canal Park. Also visit Enger Tower. Stop at the visitor center just as you crest the hill approaching Duluth overlooking Lake Superior for info on getting to both places. Duluth also has a very nice railroad museum. If you are going towards the end of August then the Minnesota State Fair is worth a visit.
