I got my "good deal" UPS from B&H from an earlier deal post. So I shut down my mid-2010 i7 27" iMac, unplugged it from the wall, and plugged it into the UPS. Then I pressed the power button and...
...nothing.
I mean absolutely nothing. No sound, no light, no fury.
I tried leaving it unplugged all night, reset the SMC, reset it again, and again, and again...always nothing.
I am about to order a new power supply from iFixit since this is still a nice, viable family machine, but wondered if y'all had any other ideas/suggestions?
