Recommendations for replacement MagSafe adapters?

1) I make Frankensteinn adapters by combining parts from two broken ones; I use two such models daily.

2) There are repair parts on Amazon, and I am thinking I will try those if the failure is just the connector.

3) Apple has replaced two of my defective adapters as an extended warranty at an Apple Store.

4) My replacements have come from OWC during a garage sale.
