Guess they're so big now that they have to play huge stadiums (vs small arenas). They played at NRG stadium which is where the Houston Texans football team plays. I think it must have been 50,000 people.
Anyway, it was a great show in terms of the stage setup, the music, the trip down Joshua Tree memory lane, and the extra non-JT tracks. However, acoustics in a venue that large are never going to be up to snuff and last night proved no different.
However, I'm glad I went, but this will probably be my last U2 show.
