On Monday, while we're on vacay, my wife remembers she's invited to a baby shower on Thursday. So we get on Amazon and find something (around $50). We're Prime members, but we spring for an extra $7 for one-day shipping. And it's still not here.
Yeah, I know, this happens, but what gets me is that, per tracking, they managed to get the product to a nearby suburb within 24 hours of order. And then it sat. Next day it went to another nearby suburb. And sat. Tracking said it was guaranteed to be delivered by 8PM yesterday. No luck.
Called today to see if I could drive to them and pick it up. Nope- it's on the truck and out for delivery. That was this morning, and we still don't have it.
Wife has gone out and bought a "place-keeper" gift for the party. I'm thinking we ought to at least get our $7 back. Does that sound reasonable?
