eBay item didn't ship yet

I do understand, and I am not trying to defend the seller, (heck, I am siding with my friend on this one), but maybe he is under 6 feet of mud and has no way to communicate. cell phone dead, or maybe no smart phone, computer out, poor guy trying to save his property, maybe even some lives, and messaging eBay buyers is the last thing in one's mind in crisis like these.

Anyway, I know my friend will get his money back from eBay, and I hope the seller is OK after all. Seller got a second negative feedback today.
