Hotel recommendation for Pittsburgh?

May be more than you want to pay (guessing it's $200-300) but we stayed at the Wyndam Grand last fall, and it was just the right thing for a getaway weekend with the kids. Close to the river (and the stadiums I know you're not interested in), but that leaves a lot of other things in walking distance as well. We walked almost everywhere, and while Pitt/CMU would probably have been walkable, we took the short drive (10 min?) because we knew we'd be doing plenty of walking on the other end.
