I always signal because almost everyday I see in the paper,

"Drug bust on 3rd street. Cops stopped car for failure to signal lane change. Cops smelled something funny and called for backup K-9 drug dog to sniff car. Three people arrested for drug possession."

Now I don't use or carry drugs but I avoid the hassle of getting pulled over.
