That's NEVER been explained to me, but I suspect that the Trump supporters don't believe he will do the things he says he will, so instead of being dangerous he's seen as actually being safe. A loudmouth and nothing more.
And that, my friends, is exactly why comparisons to earlier fascists have relevancy.
Very well put. I don't think that at this moment Trump is as intrinsically evil as Hitler was, but I believe he is completely amoral, and could easily do evil. I think it's more likely that a Trump presidency would lead to unstable social and political conditions that would encourage the rise of a real Hitler. Bottom line, Trump gives me the creeps for what he is now and for the trend he represents.
