I, too, have always had that attitude towards situations that I've come across in life. Whether it's been reacting to a car crash in front of my house or offering to assist an elderly person struggling with a lot of packages or groceries, I always feel motivated to lend a hand.
It always makes me smile when, on occasion, a youngster offers to hold the door for me. I'm happy to see that some parents instill that kind of consideration in their children.
