Yeah, the problem is...it's in the wall. Without breaking through, not sure I'd get a trap in. The other option is to smoke it out somehow, with something that won't stink for the humans in the house. The sound devices seem like a waste of money.
They come into the house from some point and will leave for food and water. Look for droppings in all rooms, especially an attached garage as well as kitchen cabinets. Also look around foundation, openings for vents and crawl spaces are targets. The traps can be placed where droppings are found. I caught my intruders on my deck.
