thanks all for the feedback.
my needs are basic: correct white balance, some color correct, minor tweaks such as cleaning up skin and removal of objects (phone lines, etc).
i remain interested in affinity photo 1.5.
i also liked the beginner "how-to" vids on vimeo.
$50/affinity photo = 5 months of the adobe foto lightroom/photoshop subscription so is cheaper in the long run.
i wonder if the affinity photo saved format can be opened by adobe products if i ever needed to share my workflow with an adobe user.
anyone have any thoughts?
