Smaller cup? Like those tiny espresso to go cups from Starbucks. Mini bathroom mouthwash cups from dollar store? If the cup is 3 inches and the straw is 3.5 inches, it's a tiny bit of effort to move the liquid up an inch. Bendy straws help. Don't worry, she'll be fine.
