Any downside of moving from grandfathered AT&T unlimited data to new AT&T Unlimited Plus?

Having no contract is a downside. After giving up your grandfathered plan for the new one, ATT can change the terms any time they want.

AT&T already does changes the terms anytime they want on the grandfathered plan. The second price increase is coming up (to $40), at which point my grandfathered plan will cost the same as the new unlimited plan. They both throttle at 22GB, so I'll make the switch. I'm probably going to dump AT&T anyway when I'm done paying off my 7 Plus.

What I do wonder is if the $25 DirecTV credit will apply to the already discounted (and grandfathered) $35 DirecTV Now plan...
