Which model are you looking at?

I don't know, because I can't find any trace of recent models on Apple's refurbished page. The higher-end ones, that's for sure.
You can go to https://www.refurb.me/en-us/mac-laptop and sort by about a dozen categories. Then set an alert when you find the one you want. USB 3.0 is a very popular feature, which eliminates everything before the Mid-2012 model (MacBookPro9,1). Having cheaply and easily upgradeable HD matters to a lot of people, so that eliminates everything after the Mid-2012 model. Yes, that means there is only one desirable refurb model in the last 6 years. Confusedmiley-laughing001:

It is possible to link to a specific refurb model on the Apple site, but they don't currently list out of stock models which makes it difficult to quickly look if the one you want is currently in stock. http://www.everymac.com/systems/apple/ma...okpro.html is one of the best places to search for specific features.

Don't forget that Apple refurb models have a different product number than the identical "new" machine.
