Where to buy guitar strings?

Me? I've been playing without a D string for a the last couple of weeks. I remember Pat Metheny used to test himself by playing minus one string, or only the first three strings - all kinds of exercises. So I'm not in a hurry. I can't even remember where I bought the last pair of strings. Every music store around here has moved at least twice since I last purchased...
