So I have this conversation with a woman about how her daughter's husband has carved himself out an amazing Man Cave.
What I don't understand is why would a man relegate himself to a small portion of the dwelling he's shelling out money for every 30 days? The entire house should be his cave. She disagreed with me.
And what is a Man Cave? A television and a stereo? I mean, he can't bring any women up in there (which to be fair, would require a cave).I'd call it a Room of No Compromise. Barcalounger(s), check. Mini fridge full of cold beverage, check. Lifesize bobblehead of of My Guy from My Team? If I wanna.
The majority of the rest of the house is a negotiation. I'd burn water trying to boil it, but she's got chef mojo? Fine, gourmet kitchen for her needs, and maybe I get the John Deere of washer/dryers to ease taking on laundry duty as penance for being a kitchen hazard. Numbers and finance give her a headache? I get a tricked out home office, she gets a Home Depot credit card and a workshop for all those years she paid attention when she helped her dad around the house.
We both get a 70" big screen for the living room.
So forth and so on.
