If you have another computer at your disposal, try pairing it with that one too.
Just brought the original Magic Mouse downstairs, and my new iMac saw it right away.
Reversed the test and took the new Magic Mouse2 upstairs. Old iMac did not see it.
So I conclude the problem is with the old iMac, not the mice.
So how could swapping the HDD for an SSD have interfered with the Bluetooth mouse? Or did something else change?
