Triva packing for a trip
#7
We've gone through rounds of trying to keep my mother able to travel with a "computer". She's 88 and broke her left arm last summer, a break which could not be properly set. So she now has more limited use of that arm. She was already weak. When we looked at the iPad mini before she broke her arm even that was too heavy for her to use. But she loves her iPhone, and uses her iMac at home all the time.

I don't find my 2010 hand-me-down 13" unibody MacBook Pro too heavy for travel. But we got 13" MacBook Airs for my younger kids in college and for my wife when she needed a laptop.

What works for one person might not for another. Glad we have a variety of choices.

Good luck.
