Like UP. No speaking in the first 5 minutes, but we all lived a lifetime of happiness, pain and sorrow. The movie could have ended there and would have felt I got my moneys worth.
Agreed 100%! I forgot about that. What amazing story telling in those first few minutes! I go to matinees almost exclusively. Even with just a few people in the audience, I could hear some sniffling. Really well done. I've got it on the Drobo, time to watch it again. Thanks for the reminder, jdc. I'll check out Cars 3.
Trailer is a bit a nonsensical.
I usually avoid the trailers of movies I think/know I'll want to see. It gives me a little more enjoyment knowing absolutely as little as possible about a good movie as I sit down in my favorite seat. Trailers are usually shown as a mis-mash and I like that because it helps me forget them and when the Disbelief Balloon go up, everything is seen for the first time.
